Astro From The X-Factor Inks a Deal With Epic Records and L.A. Reid

Brian Bradley aka the Astronomical Kid was one of the more stand out performers on this past premier season of Fox’s The X-Factor. He was known as the kid with the Brooklyn cockiness who could rap his butt off….even pegging himself to be better than Jay-Z in five years time. He was quick witted, wrote his own rhymes, and was very confident when he hit the stage. His tour de X ended at 7th place, but these days, the Kid has alot to be happy about.

MTV recently confirmed that the 15-year-old with a 30-year-old swag just inked a deal with his show-mentor, L.A. Reid under L.A.’s Epic Records.

“He’s a great man. He let’s me be me and that’s what I respect,” Astro said of Reid. “I feel like if I didn’t have L.A. as a mentor I probably would have went insane.”

Astro appeared on “Rap Fix Live” yesterday via MTV.com to discuss his new deal.

Congrats to the Kid….he’s gonna be major!
