Last night Nike debuted the Nike Air Mag aka the Marty McFly made famous in the blockbuster film, Back To The Future II, which featured Michael J. Fox.  The shoe has been updated and given a very futuristic spin and is being sold to help benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.

The astronautic sneaker was auctioned off last night and the winning bid for the first pair was a whopping $37,500.  The auction, co-hosted by Joel McHale at the Montalbahn Theatre in L.A. The winner will also get a ‘plutonium case’ to keep their McFly’s in and McHale claims he will also give the anonymous winner a puppy as well.

All proceeds going to Fox’s foundation for Parinsons.
