The folks over at Louis Vuitton are right on time; releasing their cruise collection campaign in an unconventional way–via film. Gone are the days where print campaigns alone are used to show the world what’s about to rock the fashion world next, no, famous name makers, like LV are taking to a cinematic spin to display each seasons collection.
Here, below, is LV’s recent debut of the 2012 Cruise Collection, which hit the web via Louis Vuitton’s online magazine, New Now, in collaboration with Matthew Donaldson. The 2:22 cinematic fashion show features an amazing dance who moonlights as a model. The video wasn’t cheap, obviously, as its shot at a 1,000 frames per second. We get to see the sleek damsel spinning at tortoise-like speeds to show off this 60′s inspired collection.
